Georgia Death Race

The iconic Georgia Death Race is a 74ish mile trail running race from Byron Herbert Reece Farm in Blairsville, Ga to Amicalola Falls State Park. Runners are required to carry a 1 lb railroad spike the duration of the race. If you finish, then you throw this nail in the coffin and receive an engraved spike for the completion of your journey. The race has 16,000 ft of climbing and 16,000 ft of descent. It is relentless. The race has been called the “craziest and most fun race East of the Rockies”. It continues to be the most watched, sought after, and desired ultra marathon on the East Coast. Come be part of the legendary course and see if you can be one of the 60% who actually finish the race.
